Sumitomo Tire Reviews & Ratings - What other people have to say

The reviews we’ve gathered from customers show that they’re extremely satisfied with the tire and how it performs. Many customers praise its grip and stability, especially when driving through wet or cold conditions.

The few negative comments we found mainly related to not being as durable as other brands such as Yokohama tires. As good as Sumitomo’s are, they are not the best when it comes to long-term use.

For a set of four tires, expect to pay between $300 and $600 . This is about average when compared with other brands in the same category – good quality tires for an affordable price.

The Sumitomo tires warranty covers defects in material and workmanship. It doesn’t cover accident damage, overloading, under-inflation or other types of misuse.

If you have a car that has been modified – lowered suspension / larger wheels – the warranty may not apply since your vehicle is being pushed to its limit. Make sure you read all fine print before making a purchase.

Sumitomo Tires Pros & Cons

Sumitomo Tires are a well-known brand and are often considered to be a top tire choice. However, there are both pros and cons to consider when choosing this brand. Some of the benefits include good performance on wet surfaces and a low cost, while some of the drawbacks include less durability than other brands and lower customer ratings.

Pros

Very good in wet conditions -Tires like this help you drive in the rain with confidence because they offer stability and control when other tires may fail.

Cheap options available – If you are on a budget and need a cheap tire, Sumitomo is one of the best brands to consider. This means you can have peace of mind knowing that your money will be well spent on a quality product.

They are well known for the high-performance and all-season tires line.

Cons

The one main drawback is that Sumitomo tires tend to wear down more quickly than some other brands, especially if you’re driving through rough or bumpy roads or over potholes. This is not at all ideal if you drive your car daily on rough terrain, so another tire option that can handle this might be best for you.

With only one winter tire model to choose from, this may not be the best choice if you live in an area that experiences heavy snowfall.
